Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking BI Architect to design and implement scalable, high-performance data platforms leveraging modern data architecture concepts, such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and Data Lakehouse. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Analytics, and cloud-native data platforms, ensuring robust and agile business intelligence solutions across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement modern data solutions leveraging Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Data Integration, and other cloud-native services
  • Design and develop scalable Data Fabric and Data Mesh architectures to enable decentralized data ownership while maintaining data governance and quality
  • Lead the creation of Data Lakehouse's by integrating structured and unstructured data for advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases
  • Develop and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices for BI architecture, data modeling, and data pipelines
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide architectural guidance
  • Implement self-service BI solutions using modern BI tools, such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Establish and maintain metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloging processes
  • Drive data governance frameworks and policies in alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Continuously monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in BI and data architecture, including cloud technologies, real-time data streaming, and advanced analytics

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in BI architecture, data integration, and data warehousing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and Data Lakehouse architectures
  • Expertise in cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on data services
  • Strong understanding of modern data engineering concepts, including ELT/ETL, data streaming, and real-time analytics
  • Experience with metadata management, data governance, and data cataloging tools
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling, data vault, and star schema
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams

Preferred

  • Certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or related Oracle technologies
  • Experience with data orchestration and workflow automation tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, or Informatica
  • Familiarity with data streaming platforms such as Oracle GoldenGate
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, including AI/ML models and their integration into BI platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Graph databases and NoSQL databases
