JDE Financial Functional Consultant
Overview
We are seeking an experienced JDE Financial Functional Consultant to provide expert guidance in the implementation, optimization, and support of JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne Financials modules. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes and JDE functionality, enabling them to deliver customized solutions that meet business needs and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document financial requirements
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of JDE Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Job Costing
- Perform gap analysis to identify areas where JDE can enhance current financial processes and provide recommendations
- Design and document financial processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance requirements
- Configure JDE financial modules to meet specific business needs, including chart of accounts, financial statements, and reporting structures
- Lead and support JDE upgrades, ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption to financial operations
- Develop and execute test plans for system configuration, including unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide training and support to end-users on financial modules and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve post-go-live financial issues, ensuring the integrity of financial data
- Ensure proper integration between JDE financial modules and other modules, such as Procurement, Sales, and Manufacturing
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in a financial functional consulting role
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, FA, bank reconciliation, multi-currency processing, and financial reporting
- Experience in configuring and implementing financial modules, including setting up chart of accounts, financial periods, and allocations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a high-pressure environment
- Experience with JD Edwards tools such as Orchestrator, BI Publisher, and UBE Reports
Preferred
- JDE certification in Financials
- Experience in multi-company, multi-currency, and intercompany eliminations within JDE
- Knowledge of tax reporting and compliance, including VAT, GST, and withholding tax configurations
- Experience in financial consolidation and integration with external reporting tools
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Oracle BI, Power BI, or Tableau for financial reporting and analysis
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or construction industries
