Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SAP Security/GRC Consultant to design, implement, and manage robust security frameworks for SAP systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and mitigating business risks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Security, GRC solutions, and advanced knowledge of access controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage SAP security roles, profiles, and authorization objects
- Configure and maintain SAP GRC modules, including Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments, identify segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts, and implement mitigation controls
- Perform regular system monitoring, access reviews, and vulnerability assessments
- Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access issue resolution
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with standards such as SOX, GDPR, or ISO
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security configurations with business requirements
- Provide training and guidance on SAP security protocols and GRC tools
- Stay updated on emerging SAP security trends and recommend process enhancements
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of SAP Security experience across at least 4 SAP Applications e.g. ECC/EHP7, BW/BI, GRC, BOBJ, BPC, CRM, SRM
- Experience with modern SAP Application such as HANA, S4, Fiori, Lumira, IDM, GRC Process Control, GRC Risk Management, Audit Management, Fraud Management
- In-depth knowledge on different user and role types, SAP Authorization Concept, Roles/Activity Groups, and User Administration on different SAP Platform
- Ability to perform Solution Architect tasks working on defining solutions in response of client request for proposal
- Solid understanding on concepts of Segregation of Duties SoD
- Experience in end-to-end SAP Security project implementation
- Extensive experience in the design and development of SAP security policies
Preferred
- Certifications in specific SAP platforms such as SAP GRC, SAP IDM, or SAP HANA
- Good knowledge and understanding of SAP Authorization & Authentication concepts & technologies
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience of SAP Cloud Platform capabilities
- Knowledge and understanding IOT & Edge Technologies, BIGDATA, Machine Learning
- Technical coding knowledge in Shell Scripts, SQL, JavaScript and any one of programming language like JAVA or Python
